No sex please we're Naturists!

I remember the title of a movie from the 70's called "No sex please we're British". I cannot vouch for the quality of the movie as I cannot recall the content and that probably speaks volumes, however the title came to mind when I started to consider this topic.

We see more of a sensual rather than sexual aspect in the practice of the Naturist lifestyle. The senses certainly work much better without the restriction of clothing and this plus the knowledge that one has broken through a societal taboo could explain the joy and freedom that is experienced.

There is no doubt that we are sexual creatures and there is a natural instinct to regard the naked body of the opposite sex if only from a point of curiosity.

However we are also able to go beyond a mere instinct response.

Were it otherwise males would not be able to restrain the arousal response within a nudist setting, yet this restraint is clearly what is observed and experienced.

We transcend instinct when we accept and respond to agreed behavioral limits within a defined Naturist setting such as a clothing optional beach, a club or Naturist resort.

In a broader societal sense a monogamous state would not be possible otherwise.

All this goes to prove that the dominant sex organ in the human body is in fact the brain!

This is why Naturists can rightly claim that nudity does not equal sex.

    1. Hi,happy to offer some advice.
First I would recommend checking out the Aussie Naturist website (see the button to the right of this blog) but you need to be 18yo to join.

I am not sure which beaches you have tried but I would suggest you try Cobblers beach which is more family friendly with a better mix of regulars.

Good luck with your naturist endeavours.

    2. Anon - Please don't be discouraged by the gay guy stuff; there are those who abuse our beaches worldwide like that and all true nudists/naturists abhor this activity. It is a sensitive topic which most naturist organizations are afraid to address in fear of being labeled 'homophobic'.

That's nonsense. Nudists adhere to a code of conduct which these people do not, it's that simple. These are not nudists/naturists, they are sexual deviates who cause problems for legitimate nudists. Avoid them and you'll be ok!

The advice given above is good plus we'd suggest you visit our website to get a broader view of our wonderful nudist world, flaws and all! Good luck!

  3. Sunkissed - You have said it right here, thank you! We added a link to this on a recent article about that... something... in our nudist brains that allows us to see things differently. Hard to explain but so easily understandable to someone who fits the criteria of being a real nudist/naturist, philosophy and all. Not everyone gets it, but you do!
